He ain't going anywhere ...Will still be with us next season.

Am I the only one here who actually wants him to go now?

I think most people are in a moral dilemma. If he goes we will miss him for a while as he is world class when he wants to be but if he stays we have aa player who doesn't appear to want to be here and has wholy disrespected the owner

The only way for yaya to come out with any credibility is to come out before the world cup and say that he wants to stay and apologise for his agents words. And we all know what the possibility of that is.

I see you point, but haven't we been here with Tevez? We let him back in but his return was short lived, and let's face it losing him has hardly damaged the club in terms of performance (quite the opposite) in short I guess I'm saying players are always replaceable no matter how good they are.

Re: Yaya Toure

This would never of happened if we still had Bobby in charge......

Pellegrini out!

;-)

Sorry if already posted

After opening the door to Paris Saint-Germain, Yaya Toure (31) , midfielder of Ivorian international Manchester City, wanted to reduce his remarks. Under pressure from Citizens? "I take this opportunity given to me to put things in context, explained the former Monaco RFI. This is very important. I just said it was a pleasure to be a rather courted player and it was an honor to play for PSG. The media have released my words out of context. For now, there is nothing planned. Too many things have been said and I was annoyed. "

Apology accepted. ;)

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has calmed rumours that he wants to join Paris Saint-Germain by insisting that his original comments were 'taken out of context'.

The Ivory Coast international was recently quoted as saying that it would be an "honour" to play for the French champions.

The remarks came shortly after he expressed that he was unhappy that City failed to mark his 31st birthday, but the midfielder has now insisted that there is "nothing planned" in terms of a transfer.

"I want to take advantage of this opportunity to put things into context," Toure told RFI. "It's very important. I simply said that it was nice to be a player who is quite coveted, and it was an honour to play for PSG.

"The media took what I said out of context. For the moment, there's nothing planned. Too many things have been said, that annoyed me."

Toure's contract at the Etihad Stadium runs until 2017.

Gotta protect that loyalty bonus. Toure's flirtations with other clubs in the last six months must be getting close to the point where City can do what they did with Tevez and start taking money out of his pocket.

Looks like the 'boys' have paid him a visit.

Re: Yaya Toure

As said, Yaya is protecting his pocket. He's bending the line as best he can without crossing it fully.

All he had to say is he's staying or he's looking to leave, no need for any grey areas. It really is that simple.

Realistically, I envisage Yaya and his camp will drag this out as long as possible. If City replace they are exposed to selling at a lower price, if they wait, they miss on targets of the highest order as teams will already have the players bought or planned for in preparation of the 14/15 season.

What needs to happen is we sell or keep and the decision is to be made asap.

Imo, PSG bound. 5 year deal on parity with highest paid staff I.e Ibrahimovic.
