As said, Yaya is protecting his pocket. He's bending the line as best he can without crossing it fully.

All he had to say is he's staying or he's looking to leave, no need for any grey areas. It really is that simple.

Realistically, I envisage Yaya and his camp will drag this out as long as possible. If City replace they are exposed to selling at a lower price, if they wait, they miss on targets of the highest order as teams will already have the players bought or planned for in preparation of the 14/15 season.

What needs to happen is we sell or keep and the decision is to be made asap.

Imo, PSG bound. 5 year deal on parity with highest paid staff I.e Ibrahimovic.

This for definite, maybe the club has already made the decision!?

Re: Yaya Toure

There are very few clubs who would be prepared to pay what we would ask AND also give Yaya a pay rise or same wages.

RM no
No UK club - possible exception of rags who I doubt we would sell to
Barca -doubtful on the wages front I think
Bayern - no
Monaco, PSG -both possible but PSG have blown their transfer budget unless they sell someone or do a swap deal

That is about it, personally I think he is angling for a pay-rise here at City in an extremely stupid way as there are probably only a couple of clubs in the world who would meet his pay demands.........

I am in the 'get rid' whilst we can still get a decent wedge for him, he's got form for being a sulky child so forcing him to stay wouldn't help team morale next year - as much as I'd like to see him sat in the EDS squad for being a dick.....

Re: Yaya Toure

If he came out and said "okay i think i've done everything i want to now with Manchester City and i want to move on to a different challenge for the rest of my career" i think i'd be happy to let Yaya leave although with a bit of sorrow because of what we'd miss from him.

At the moment i just feel like he's a dick!

Glad to see this topic dying on its feet

Yeah just the 600 pages, five of which are from today as we just pass lunchtime. And that's without any of Touré's daily unintelligible ravings to amuse us yet.
