If he wants to go, then sell him!

If he thinks that he is irreplaceable, he will find out in short order that he is dead wrong! Pellegrini gave him the freedom to play without much responsibility. To do that, he needs world class players around him and a manager who will allow it. Good luck with that!

I think Yaya is an IMMENSE player, when "he brings his boots, not his deck chair" (not my quote!), but we all know what he is like with a strop on. No problem, the price starts in the high 20s, and will aid us immeasurably with meeting the £49M net spend this summer!

He has already said he wants to play in Paris and PSG are in the same position as us, so good luck with that Yaya, too!

I believe in Manchester City and NO PLAYER is bigger than that. If Yaya doesn't want to be part of the clubs future........wish him good luck, thank him for his service and cash the big fat check.....at least one top quality player and TWO top salaries!!

But what message does that send to our other top players? If you too throw a hissy-fit, you can leave too? And I doubt he'd fetch that much. He's already on a huge wage and if add a huge transfer fee on top of that, it may be too much for potential suitors for a 31 year old. If Barca came in with a 15M offer, I can imagine Yaya and his agent doing everything in their power to break down that door.

And what could they do, realistically? Break the door down? Or say rude words?

We are not exactly in the poor house even after the bloody sanctions and if it's £15m, he can be told you're going nowhere: we want 3 goals every fucking game of you can pick up where Chappy left off.

Seriously, by all means if he wants to leave and sensible offers come in then fine. But with 3 years left on his contract anyone offering less than £40m to £50m should be told to swivel.

We are through the looking glass here, people

Re: Yaya. The Ultimate Monster

The previous tweet wasn't worded very well, i presume his agent thought he deserved a brown paper bag or flash car after the season he has had, as a thank you. very petty

Re: Yaya. The Ultimate Monster

Reporter on talk sport just said they have spoke with Yaya's agent and said that there is a relationship issue with him and the club, he doesn't feel as respected as much as he was at previous clubs.

Mancini, Tevez, Balotelli gone, gone, gone. Think City have been sending a clear and correct message.

Looking at both Balo and Tevez, they both weren't that important to our side in their last years. Yaya is arguably our best player. My view on it is that we should look to keep him at all costs, he doesn't seem to carry the negativity that the three you mentioned had. I feel the only reason we should sell him is if he is a negative influence behind the scenes and he'd be if we kept him.

Re: Yaya. The Ultimate Monster

This is utterly bizarre. It does look like in the video the cake on the plane was to celebrate winning the league cos Nasri points to Yaya and the air hostess starts awkwardly singing happy birthday and Yaya doesn't react he looks asleep or just staring into his laptop. He got a big chocolate cake in Abu Dhabi but I'm not sure if that was on the day of his birthday. Can't believe Im discussing cake over keeping one of our players ffs!
