Just curious but those people saying that it's a storm in a teacup etc. How will you feel if the next story to break is that Toure wants to move to Chelsea ?

The only reason I ask is because there are rumours doing the rounds in Spain, and at least one paper out there has written that Barcelona have zero interest in him but that this escapade is because Mourinho is the manager who wants him.

If that turns out to be true then there will be IMO all out war this summer. Part of me is beginning to think that one or two clubs who know we have a transfer limit and are trying to weaken us further.

I know the club don't make statement and I respect that totally. However in this instance I feel that if there is one more outburst from his agent or from the player himself then the club need to address it either publicly or privately to gag them both. Otherwise it will be a long summer.

It's Spain to start with, the amount they get right makes the sun info seem gospel

And you really think he'd go to Chelsea because of Maureen?? Do me a favour billy, he'd be back to 7/8 a season...... It's money driven and that's a cert, he won't get that at the chavs, PSG or barca, city is another story!!!!!

City would NEVER sell to Chelsea. I'm not saying they would.

But tell me ... do you put it past Mourinho to have a go at unsettling Toure baring in mind he's only got a year left on his contract ?

Who has only one year,Mourinho or Toure?Toure has at least three years left.

Mate, I generally respect a lof of your posts. But come on. This is turning into hysterical hypotheticals which are about the size of the grand canyon.

Actually that's not the case at all. I think maybe you're losing sight of just how big a commodity Toure is and you're certainly underestimating Mourinho and Chelsea's capacity to fuck with other PL clubs.

So we're clear also ... i'm anything but hysterical. I've already said doesn't really matter to me whether he stays or goes because one man won't make the team. However I do think that the "storm in a teacup" brigade are in for a nasty surprise as events unfold in the coming days and weeks.

This won't go away quietly if that's what you're thinking.
the latest SSN interview with Seluk is truly bizarre - all Yaya wants is a part-time job when he finishes playing
Well maybe if he nips round while Kolos out,he could get a couple of games as manager then the assistant managers job.

Re: Yaya Toure

The heat on this Yaya story should be dying down a bit now today especially with the breaking Suarez injury news, now is the time for the club to get hold of the big mard arsed lump and find out what the fuck is going through his head and get it sorted

Maureen doesn't even get a say at Chelsea mate, something he had to accept on his return re:player purchases, he can want all he likes, the truth is no club would sanction an improved deal of over £230k per week for 4 years on a 31 year old, especially not when tit bits are coming out about him thinking of coaching roles.... His agent will be called out on this, find him the club and we'll talk, there won't be one on the terms he has or wants...... All the answers are actually in the interviews, hissy fits are just clouding people's judgements, I'd take people's money against him being here next year!!!!!

he's got 3 years left on his contract Billy but I think the offer of Chappy's old job will solve the problem
;-)

Yeah I had a little brain fart ... the point remains ... lets see if this is in fact over as others are saying.

Re: Yaya Toure

Latest.

Yaya's agent now saying he doesn't want a penny more, just want's attention, and want's a role at the club as a football director or coach.

Well why didn't he just speak to the Sheikh first?

:-?

Of course it's not over. A tweet being deleted doesn't mean it's over!!

It might slow down...but that's it. You can't say what has been said for the last couple of days, then just delete a tweet!!!

Mate the tweets are irrelevant for me. It's the wannabe Borat who's doing the rounds of the British media talking absolute shite which needs to stop.

I agree! But people saying a tweet being deleted means the issue over is nonsense.

No one cared about the tweets in the first place, really. It's the agent!!

I agree....

the OS What the Media Says - headlines with Dzeko to Valencia and squeezes the Yaya storm in at the bottom of their report for the first time!

Publically for now yes.

I take it you missed his agent's new interview.
Its nothing new though is it just on a bigger and more bizarre scale
Listening to Guillem Balugue's take on this he said cheeky & Sorianno were dealing with this idiot Saluk on a regular basis talking his shit, and they were fed up week after week of him offering ya ya to Real Madrid....

Re: Yaya Toure

What fucking grates me the most is that we gave Toure the skipper's armband when Vinny was out, Zabba didn't say a word in protest. That's how you behave like a man Toure, you big soft twat.

Re: Yaya Toure

Bit tedious this now - he's got 3 years left on contract so him or is half-wit agent can NOT dictate to us.

We would NEVER sell Yaya to Chelsea, there is absolutely zero chance of this ever happening.

This Dimitri bloke is no friend of Yaya's - he's made him a laughing stock around the world with this rediculous birthday story!!

As the Cake Turns...

Re: Yaya Toure

In spite the latest comments from Borat, the sour taste in my mouth wont disappear.

The way this has been handled by Yaya and his agent is so poor and disrespectful I cannot quite yet let it go.

I'm still in the won't forgive and forget camp. And unless we hear from Yaya himself asap, I'll remain there.

I may be a bit of a naive romantic, but I demand more than quality on the pitch from any Man City player.

I and many other city fans were pissed that Zab was not given the vice captainacy last season. Yaya does NOT measure up to Zab as a man at all IMO.

Re: Yaya Toure

Whilst this has obviously been a bit of a disaster for our club, I do think Yaya deserves peoples patience until he actually come's forward and speaks publicly on the issue.

I agree that no player is bigger than the club and if Yaya was to re-iterate the feelings of his agent then I would reluctantly sell him abroad.

However I also believe that Yaya is our best player, and we should not be selling him unless it is absolutely in the best interests of the club.

We should wait to see what Yaya says himself before condemning him via the words of his agent.

If we got rid of yaya, every team in the prem would breathe a huge sigh of relief and one or two may even consider buying him......maybe before we start grabbibg the pitch folks amd forming a mob we should consider this.

This.

I've been absolutely amazed at the utter bollocks I've read recently, apparently Yaya is a "****" and not even our best player!

I love Yaya, he is by far the best player in the team, above "El Mago" David Silva and Saint Vincent and even Sergio. He has remained relatively injury free for most of the last three seasons and frankly the team has been built around him and his excellent passing and vision.

(I have been wrong on numerous occasion's particularly on Pelligrini and immediately apologized for being so wrong about him, but I must admit losing Yaya would feel like a major blow to our ambitions to dominate this league for the next 2-3 seasons, I'm not sure anyone else can provide the team what he offers).

I'm with you two. Mind you, a fair few undercover red fuckers were posting on here last night stirring the pot.
I think you've got that wrong Sky Blue. Of the few of us were called out as rags last night, not one of us would have disagreed with what EaglesFan has said above. The rag shaming was just the usual bully boys trying to shut up the few dissenting voices.

Agreed - no class and his agent is barking mad!!
