I'm struggling to think of anything more sad and pathetic than joining another club's forum and pretending to be a native. It betrays a mentally weak, insecure loser. It's actually pitiful.
Sums me up to a tee:)
That post put someone in my mind, then I noticed it was actually GDM himself ;-)

Yes, I'm widely know for being mentally weak and insecure.

Yes. Yes it does.
I've never claimed to be a mature & responsible member of the community :)

I'd say you were better known for your ability to fall asleep anywhere and the whiff of urine, than anything else.

We're on a day trip:)
Just like Del Boy and the boys in Margate. I see an 'exploding bus' moment anytime now

One of the adjustments we need to make now we are a top club is that we are mainly going to attract mercenaries. Toure is the epitome of a mercenary, doesn't give a FF about the fans or the club. All he is concerned about is his own greed and ego. He won't give Manchester City a second thought when he goes. The club was just a vehicle to advance his own career, hence all the petulant comments about him not getting player of the year because he is African. IMO he was far more interested in winning Player of the Year for himself (to get a bigger pay day) than he was about City winning the PL.

Recent history has taught me to focus my support on the club, I just see the players as the people who bring us success. They use us we use them. Most of the badge-kissing stuff is for the TV. There is still the odd exception but anyone who believes any of them really give a shit about the club are destined to be disappointed. That is the modern game I'm afraid.

I'll go against the flow and say I don't really care if he's a mercenary or bleeds sky blue. We're going up to a level that your club probably doesn't have a hope in hell of reaching. Yaya took us a bit of the way. Just like Tevez did. Both are amazing players. If he goes I'll wish him well and enjoy watching someone like Cesc or Vidal instead. If he stays, great. Losing Tevez didn't stop our progress, and neither will losing Yaya, whether that day is tomorrow or 5 years from now.

That's all.

More 'in' jokes than an episode of 'Allo, 'Allo

I've been mis-pronouncing words a-la Inspector Crabtree when reading to my daughter - she loves it, so I showed her some Allo clips and she was cracking up.
