Recent history has taught me to focus my support on the club, I just see the players as the people who bring us success. They use us we use them. Most of the badge-kissing stuff is for the TV. There is still the odd exception but anyone who believes any of them really give a shit about the club are destined to be disappointed. That is the modern game I'm afraid.
I'll go against the flow and say I don't really care if he's a mercenary or bleeds sky blue. We're going up to a level that your club probably doesn't have a hope in hell of reaching. Yaya took us a bit of the way. Just like Tevez did. Both are amazing players. If he goes I'll wish him well and enjoy watching someone like Cesc or Vidal instead. If he stays, great. Losing Tevez didn't stop our progress, and neither will losing Yaya, whether that day is tomorrow or 5 years from now.
