Yaya Toure - Have the idiots...

Didn't have his best game but still showed his importance.

I thought he was MOTM.

We look more solid and have a greater fluidity with him in the side.

I still don't like the Barry/DJ combo though.
What I said was not damning, on the contrary it was great praise. He's a massive influence even when not playing well. He wasn't poorly last night but he's clearly suffering from a bit of fatigue so wasn't at his best. I'd call that average Yaya really. There were not many bursting fast counter-attacks that he's capable of. In fact, of the box-to-box runs he can inflict, there were none. Even so, still crucially influential. Don't think we'd have won without him.

On the money IMO. A 75% Yaya > most other mids.

IMHO, a city team with a fatigued YAYA is way better than having none in it

Who think he's a lazy bastard and we're a better team without him (and there seems to be a lot of you thick cunts) started to realise that he is one of our most important players and absolutely pivotal to our team? And that he completely dictates our play and gives Canarian Dave and co a platform to play as well as repeatedly linking up defence to midfield to attack? Probably not....
He is the beast,my favourite player,I would only swap him for Messi and nobody else.

He seems far and away a better player than when he was at Barca, to me, anyway. The rampaging gallops that he specialises in seem to fucking terrify defenders and he is one of the strongest players I've seen.
A Beast indeed.

Absolutely the most important player to our team. We are much better when he's in the team

I wouldn't swap him for any midfielder in the country.

I'd almost argue the planet, mate. There isn't a player in the world in his position who could score goals, support the midfield and supply pure power that we've needed. Truly a legend. I hope he retires and goes on to work with Paddy V.

With a good run in the first team he could maybe our Phil Jones!
