I'd interpret that as "We go for a lot of players and are genuinely surprised when some say 'yes' and then play Scrooge over the transfer fee."

He was bleating on himself the other day how 35m euro was a disgrace for Toure. He's just getting wound up because the deal hasn't been done. Barca seem to be a right set of cnuts to deal with.

Don't worry.
This is no Thaksin type scenario,

Allowing fr the vaguaries of internet 'translation' facilities...this interaction could have been taped in any street market accross the world.

Either the Barca / Yaya factions are just bartering

or (more pessimistically)

Arse are playing hardball over the Cesc deal and Barca are throwing in Yaya as a makeweght.

The representative of the native from Ivory Coast, Dimitri Seluk, confirmed east
Sport.es

Monday that the Arsenal is, at this moment, the equipment with more options to clock on and off to Cesc, superficially even of the Manchester City, that went first in calling to its door. Touré would see with very good eyes enter ' Cesc' operation; , something that would lower the price of the signing of this last one by the azulgrana club. The own Seluk works so that this ' trueque' it is carried out. " There are many interests in the operation. To Arsène Wenger - technician of the Arsenal it likes, and the Arsenal is interested. If the conditions are good, everything could be closed pronto" , it affirmed Seluk in declarations to RAC-1. The agent affirmed that the supply of City has not been to the liking of ' 24' Barcelonist: " He can enter ' Cesc' operation; and the Barça and the Arsenal to approach positions. With City everything has changed, because they speak much, but later do not seem a rich club, but arruinado". Seluk, finally, admitted that it would like that ' trueque' it would be carried out before the World-wide one. The Barça presented/displayed the past week a supply of 35 million that was rejected by the Arsenal. The inclusion of Touré, however, could precipitate the events.

Oh dear...some agents really are a scourge on the world of football.

Can you imagine how insulted someone like Khaldoon will be if he hears some jumped up Mr 15% accusing City of behaving like they're bankrupt.

If Toure weren't as good as he is - I'd fuck him off and move on.

Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk claims the Ivory Coast midfielder could form part of the deal to bring Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona this summer.

Toure has long been linked with a move to England with Manchester City, captained by older brother Kolo, thought to be leading the race for his signature.

City's cross-town rivals Manchester United are also reportedly interested, while Kolo's former club Arsenal have been monitoring him for several years.

Last week Arsenal rejected a £29million (35million euros) offer from Barcelona for Fabregas as they look to keep hold of the Spain international but if Toure is thrown into the mix as part of an improved bid, the Gunners could reconsider.

Seluk has previously revealed that a move to the Barclays Premier League was all but a done deal and hinted Toure was set for a move to Eastlands, something he now feels is not the case.

"There's a lot of interest in the deal (for Toure)," Seluk told Rac-1. "Arsene Wenger likes him and Arsenal are interested.

"If the conditions are good, everything can be finished soon.

"He could come into the Cesc deal and Barca and Arsenal are struggling to come to an agreement.

"Everything has changed with City, because they talk a lot but then afterwards they don't appear to be a rich club but rather a bankrupt one."

Barca confirmed today they had slapped a 35million euro price-tag on Toure, something which Seluk last week insisted was too high.

Toure was a key member of the Barca side that lifted six trophies in 2009 and he extended his stay at the Nou Camp only last summer, but he appeared to fall out of favour in the latter part of the season.

Barca president Joan Laporta is resigned to letting Toure go, and feels Arsenal must be prepared to do the same with Fabregas.

He said: "If a player of this characteristics, who also has the privilege of being Arsenal captain, announces to the club that he understands his time there has come to an end and he wants to continue his career at a club like Barca...

"I always want players in my club who want to be there and they should have that commitment.

"If a player shows legitimately that he does not want to be at Barca, immediately I open the doors and defend the interests of the club, but I try to reconcile them with those of the player and the buying club."

That`s the most laughable thing about this to me, no marks making comments like Khaldoon and his associates are some Middle Eastern version of Arthur Daley and made their money selling used camels or something, these are savvy as f*ck businessmen they are refering to lmao.

Move on to Javi Martinez, should be a straightforward deal if Real or Barca don't come in for him.

wtf is goin on!!! this is the most confusing window ever!!! maicon says he wud love to join madrid and not city then dissmisses reports linking him with a move to madrid... now toure, who had "signed for some english club" is now part of about 3 deals wtf!!! :@
