Yaya Toure [Merged]

wtf is goin on!!! this is the most confusing window ever!!! maicon says he wud love to join madrid and not city then dissmisses reports linking him with a move to madrid... now toure, who had "signed for some english club" is now part of about 3 deals wtf!!! :@

Maicon was misquoted, as for other deals we cant offer players CL football and players who are in their prime and want success in football rather than money will join clubs like Arsenal instead of us. Im not trying to say we wont sign anyone who isnt good but we will struggle to get top players until we have CL football.

Is this the same agent that said 2 weeks ago that toure wouldnt be going to arsenal and wouldnt be part of any swap for fabregas?

Not one to be negative, but we do seem to be doing an awful lot of talking and seem to be seriously lacking in action at the moment.

At best we seem indecisive and lacking a plan, at worst we are messing some clubs around far more than we have any real right to do (specifically cancelling the meeting with Valencia, faffing about over Dzeko and then sending them an email just before midnight, now getting Yaya primed and ready to come and then not sealing the deal...)

I mean, can we seriously not decide whether we want Dzeko, Silva and Yaya or not? They are all world class for fuck's sake, and it would be unbelievable to get any of them!

got a feeling this is just to drum up sum more interest and increase his price and wages, still think we'll get him tho

i was a bit rash earlier about the way we supposedly handled this but i will say this in favour of the club-yaya toures agent is by far the worst and most annoying agent in the world, even last year he was shocking, spoutting his mouth off so as fbloke said earlier,i wud take anythong he says with a pinch of salt.well c what happens anyway

We should walk away now and tell them to shove it up their arse, we dont want no more overpaid premadonas at our club, we want players who are hungry for success and want to make city the best club in the world not the club who just pays big wages to overrated players

have heard alot from Yaya's agent but very little from City. Yaya didn't want to come then he did, we have prices for these players and we are sticking to them. We will get good players. If not Yaya, Martinez, if not Dzeko someone equally as good.

I very much doubt the Yaya deal is dead just yet, and we can always go back to Dzeko. There seems to be some doubt about where Silva would prefer to go, if it's Real, then let him go, we'll look elsewhere rather than take someone who is reluctant. fuck it. we've payed over the odds quite a few times over the last two years. personally I think it reflects badly on the club, and I'd honestly prefer to do without rather than carry on in the same vein. I reckon the agents and clubs sit there rubbing their hands, they think they are on the gravy train and that we'll answer all their prayers. I think it hits very hard when they realise we're going to negotiate very hard indeed, even walk away if the deal isn't right.
