Though I think Yaya would be a good addition to the squad I'm not toally arsed if he doesn't come. I just worry a bit that he'll see his arse when we ditch his second rate centre half of a brother, either that or we get stuck with Kolo and I don't think getting stuck with Kolo is worth having Yaya in the squad

Apparently arsenal are showing interest again, they want £30 million and Yaya for Fabragas !

Personally for £30 million I think Masc from Liverpool is a much much better option, if he wants to follows Benitez to Inter get Diarra from them.

For me something doesnt sit right with the Yaya deal anyway, hes now 3rd choice at Barca having been one of the best players in that poistion in the world a season or so ago so whats going on ?

I am sick of signing pricks like Robinho that only care about the money and even that is not enough for them to keep there mouths shut and play for the club.

We honestly need to be more patient with this one, Yayas agent is just playing the media game. Realistically, he is only really going to sign for us or maybe Arsenal.

Going by what the papers are saying it looks unlikely that Yaya will join us but will go to the Arse instead as part of Cesc deal. Seems we are not prepared to pay over a certain amount which is fair enough. Why should we?! Problem is at the moment money is all we've got. If we were in CL or won silverware chances are more guys would take us seriously and money might not be the be all and end all......
 
Sounds like we dodged a mercenary bullet here, if he comes, good we have a good player in a much needed position, but i'd rather we forget about mercenary cnuts like him and his agent and go for players willing to come here for more than just money

Why? Because we didn't want to line a dick of an agents pockets? Because we didn't want to pay more than than a player is worth in our eyes? Nah. City are right in this case I think. Plenty of young, talented, hungry midfielders who would WANT to come and aren't motivated by the colour of money alone....... That said I do believe there are times when we will have to pay over the odds for the RIGHT player as we are not quite a Blue Chip club yet!
