Yaya Toure [Merged]

Re: Yaya Can **** Off

This deal is far from dead. City are doing what they should have done last sumemr, and being clever about buys.

Other clubs need our money, more than we need the player. Barca, need this money to fund Cesc, and they need Yayas wages off the books. They cant have him sat there earning £85K.

Arsenal might propose a swap deal, but if they do that our money becomes irrelevant, as that would most likely be the favoured deal for both clubs and the players.

We need to play transfers this season with strategy and pateince. If we go flying in with an open cheque book like we did last summer, other clubs will have our pants down, and we will never earn any respect as a club.

Why is this quote a problem? It's unbelieveable what paranoia some of you lot have.

This quote says three things to me.

We are in for Toure.
We are playing hardball over the fee
The move could well happen

How does that translate to "yaya can fuck off". Unbelievable.

A lot seem to be insecure on here nowadays, because one stunner fucked us about (Robinho) a lot would rather have munters who'll love us unconditionally.

Paranoia and insecurity is part of the make up of a lot of Blues these days, especially the younger ones.

It's clear what the agent is saying here in a sarky/offhand manner.

Big deal. I'm glad City aren't going to be held over a barrell.

Re: Yaya Can **** Off

we do need to get as much value for our money as possible though. look at barca for instance, they win almost everything there is to win and are still over 500m in debt.

obviously if a player is worth it you spend that bit extra. also i think i read somewhere that the "selling club" pays the agents fees in most cases, although i could be wrong

Re: Yaya Can **** Off

i am enormously happy this situation has arisen. we now have a manager who ls savvy in the transfer market, just look at the boateng interview on the os. he talks about the future, fighting for a place and the manager's ambitions. let's build a GREAT TEAM not just great names on mega money. Rocky, Robbie and kolo are examples of the old regime, while jerome and johnno are examples of the new 1.

Boateng
Ibrahimovic
Milner
Kolorov(If Madrid and Inter don't get him)

Do you actually live in Italy or a UK based Italian ?
Just wondered how you managed to get so much info ref City ?

I live in Manchester but support Juventus.

I very much doubt this has anything to do with the manager mate. He won't have any input into price, he won't care.

Re: Yaya Can **** Off

Title should be "Yaya's agent can *** off".

Anyways, if Yaya really wants to come to us then he should be shutting his agent up and try to force the move with Barca.

Big bro, Kolo should have a word with Yaya and tell his agent to shut it. But then again, if Barca pays for the agent fees for selling the player with the best price then, who really is the real client of the agent? Yaya or Barca? I don't understand the workings but it is a shady area.

Do we have a plan B player in place if Yaya doesn't move?

We blew it....again!!!!!!!!

Why? Because we didn't want to line a dick of an agents pockets? Because we didn't want to pay more than than a player is worth in our eyes? Nah. City are right in this case I think. Plenty of young, talented, hungry midfielders who would WANT to come and aren't motivated by the colour of money alone....... That said I do believe there are times when we will have to pay over the odds for the RIGHT player as we are not quite a Blue Chip club yet!

are u an itk?

Plan B looks like it is Gaga or Sissoko
