He isn't a defensive midfielder, he is box to box. Barca used him as a DM because they have Xavi and Iniesta to pull the strings in midfield! Even if Bobby used Yaya as a DM he is a far better player than both Barry and De Jong anyway imo

BBC were going mad about the Brazilian defensive midfielders, but it was Yaya who really stood out for me.
