Yaya Toure signs new five year contract (merged)

This story is bollocks IMO. Reason being that Yaya's agent reckons the only person he respects at the club is Mancini yet according to some on here all the players can't stand our manager so Seluk is clearly talking shite.

I've read this comment a few times. It's worth noting that the word is "if you're not in the team you may as well be dead". Since Yaya is always in the team I can understand why he loves Mancini. Also, Yaya has had many poor performances in a Blue shirt yet he's never been publicly castigated by Mancini.

Maybe they can both work together at Monaco or in Russia next season.

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

Graham Hunter - spanish corrispondant, has just been on talkshite about lots of things and mentioned this.
He said firstly the comments are true, in that Yayas agent has indeed made those comments.
He said there was two reasons he was managed out of Barcelona (and he reiterated that he was managed out).

One was because he was overweight but this could have been dealt with. He then went on to say how City had done well and resolved this making him truley a world class player.

The second reason was because Yaya's agent continued to meddle in Yayas affairs and so Pep Guadiola told Yaya he even took his agent out of the equation or he would be shown the Barca door - and we all know what happened there.

He then said only PSG could afford Yayas wages but Yaya has said he wants to end his carear in Barca and that wont be happening.

I hope it is bollocks, not easy to replace some like Toure, i can't think of many who would come tbh.

Could see him at Real Madrid or Paris if we decided enough was enough.

If it's not about money, then it will be no problem, will it!

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

Another positive week at Manchester City Football Club. :-?

And over the road the only talking point is whether the Ginger Ninja will retire or not.

Sums this season up really. :-(

Still hope it's untrue as letting a player of yaya's stature leave could only be a bad thing.

However, woken up this mornin with a refreshed sense of paranoia. !!

Lets not let the famously well adjusted uk press turn us (the fans) against ANOTHER one of our own à la Mario (who I'm willing to wager will be back on these shores in a season or two winning leagues for one of our rivals).

Now, back to the media, what do mario and yaya have in common? Hmmm and if they succeed with yaya as they did with mario, it will be Micah next. Or vinny.
The media? Stop talking cod shit the media didn't hold his agent and gun point and force him to say what he has done.
And why would Balotelli living in Italy playing for his child hood club and actually looking happy playing football for the first time ever come back to England where he is haunted by the media

Because he's going to be a truly world class player. And they don't stay in Italy for long usually.

And wtf is cod shit?
