I made a thread about yaya after wolves. Today was even worse. He is too lazy to be true- I would never say I hate a city player, but someone who puts in such a heartless performance in a derby as that makes it rli hard for me to llike them. Got to have his wages docked. Shocking.

The movement was poor, but maybe you have to give credit to the United 3 who at times made it nigh on impossible for De Jong and Barry to play any sort of pass into feet. Maybe Yaya felt sorry for himself, coz that's what it looked like; but instead of ambling around the midfield, maybe just maybe he could of tried to do what united were doing to us and get his fucking body/foot in there. Awful.

whhy don't we just play him in the back with de jong and have a johnson on from the start? Is yaya suppose to stop the other team from getting possession back? he didn't do well enough tonight

I know some folk questioned my lack of desire for a 6ft 3inch fullback but an even bigger box to box midfielder...no suprise he's flagging in the 2nd half then. Ever seen the big decathletes do the steeplechase...they do the YaYa run....not by chance....t'big (ask Barca).

Football is a game of opinions and everyone see's the game differently I guess, but I was sat with 5 blues tonight and there were times when some of them were actually screaming at the TV when Yaya was sulking around midfield. The same happened at Wolves and it needs to be stamped out, because if Nige doesnt play (like at Wolves), we really do look toothless in midfield - With Yaya being at the heart of that. Some of his runs forward have been promising today, but he seems to be doing it far too much.. in pre-season he was pinging the ball around all over the place and I was really excited to see him carry on in that manner. Maybe its tactics and I understand that he looks uncomfortable in that position, but how on earth certain people didnt recognise his ridiculous lack of effort in the second half is beyond me.
