Yaya Toure

His contribution to our trophies; our FA Cup win, goal away at Newcastle in 2012 on way to title, and his incredible season in 2014 (should clearly have been voted player of the season) when he carried us home in the last few games should never be forgotten and define his legacy at our club. A true great we should celebrate!

No mainly because he is going, him and pep dont get on
This myth again.

Seluk was employed by YaYa, so whatever he said must have been approved by the big man, I never heard him say any other.

But whatever, both have done very well for themselves and Yaya has been outstanding for us.

Agents are runts but they are there to get the best deals for their clients.

Yaya the most significant City player in my 50+ seasons watching City Always turned up for the big occasion and drove us to all our successes, maybe started one season too long but I forgive him for that All his goals were great goals and in the main meant something Two of my favourite goals ever were his, the one v Villa (man v boys) and the goal at Wembley that put us on track to beat Sunderland Thanks big man and you will always be a legend, piece of cake

I've been one of his biggest critics but I must admit, if we HAD have sold him 2 years ago for a decent fee and still had an underperforming couple of seasons, I'd probably be screaming. "why did we sell him????"
Hindsight eh?
:)

True. It does not help that our attacking midfield Legend bellittled or made Dummies out of England's finest midfielders (Scholes and Carrick) at Wembley's Derby. That's why the rags vilified Yaya at every opportunity..
Yes, if for nothing else, (and there certainly were countless more occasions were he, single handedly, pulled us out of the mire, when desperately needed), but that game (goal) alone, Yaya should, and will for me at least, always be remembered as a true City legend.

That goal at Wembley was the most sensational strike ever seen at the National stadium. Almost no back lift, off a standing start, miles out, and whipped with unbelievable precision and dip into the top corner. And that cnut ikkle Mickey claimed it was meant to be a cross. Unbelievable Jeff!

If we have seen the last of Yaya in a City shirt then i will hold him in high regard. A pivotal part of our recent success. A scorer of some amazingly important goals in his time with us.
A player little old City signed from one of the biggest clubs in the world!
Not sure if we should call him a legend. Although we can say some of his performances were legendary!
A £24 million pound bargain!
