Agent stirring it up for increase in salary shocker!

I thought him and Tevez are the highest paid players in the club.

How much does he want more !
i don't think he does want more
i think his agent is after more, there is a difference

I thought agents only get paid once when they broker deals for their players.

Exactly. Yaya probably wants to stay but his greedy agent wants another hefty pay day. Incidentally, didn't our boys get a massive bonus for winning the title or was that just another malicious rumour.

I think YaYa should honor the terms of his contract. City's journey has only just begun and winning the EPL is only the first step. Let's win the European Cup TOGETHER.

YaYa, you're signed on for another 3 years so honor it and if you are a man of your word, you should not be looking for a transfer until 3 more years.
I think this is a weak argument. I want Yaya to stay, but guilting him into honoring a contract is bull. We buy players still under contract all the time. I don't here our fans wanting those players honor their contract and not come to us, nor do our fans applaud the likes of Bridge when he tries to honor his contract.

Cant have it both ways

Wouldn't normally be worried as we're coming up to silly season. However, the direct quotes from the agent do not sit comfortably with me.

There is NOBODY on the planet who can get box to box like Yaya. People saying Nasri and Milner can replace Yaya at what he does is fucking ridiculous at BEST.

Irreplaceable. Entirely new strategy going forward without Yaya. Look at the times this season when he was away or injured. Somedays we were clueless and in dire need of him. Without Yaya's 31 appearances we would not have won the league ...NO CHANCE.

Anybody got any stats about the 31 with Yaya and the 7 without? Can that even be right, him only missing 7 matches?

City buys player under contract by giving them better offers + giving the club " Above market value " for their players.

I know Yaya is a priceless and he worth at least double what City paid for him when he was at Barcelona bench, but if he wants to move then the right offer has to come first.

The funny thing is that his agent said his price will be cheap because he only had 2 years left on his contract !

Again, City paid + 20 M for Samir with ONE year left

Therefore Yaya's value should be at least the double.

Hmm fair few questions about this. And coming from the same agent who insulted the club during the original deal when we didn't give in to his demands.

I'll just put this out there but, perhaps, just maybe, it's not true ?
