Yaya

tbh I thought he was just another holding/defensive midfielder before he came

however his passing is outstanding and he never seems to give the ball away - his completed passes and pass success % must be the best in the league?

Agreed, and I think there is a lot more to come from yaya once he gets used to the premier league. The guy is a monster.
Hopefully Kolo's good start is in part down to having his bro around - so far he has hardly put a foot wrong (though I think we were saying that about him this time last year).

What I like about him is he way he takes no more than two touches. If he can use one he will and then nothing more than control, pass.
He makes it look effortless and not surprising given where he's come from. Very impressive.

If Yaya Toure is now called Toure Yaya then why isn't Kolo Toure called Toure Kolo. I just don't get it.

Still class whatever he's called.

It's to confuse the opposition. ;)

It shows why Barcelona is light years ahead of other teams. He started sprinting forward at one point without the ball and no one bothered to look his way. Must be a bit of culture shock coming here but with time they'll gel and then the sky's the limit.

yaya looked tired last night but the way he plays football is amazing!! always found time on the ball and his range and style of passing is a joy to watch!! anyone notice also a different gareth barry now that the shackles have been released slightly???? as has been said i cant believe the media reckon yayas not world class?!?!?
