Yaya

This board gets worse! It's now turned into 'how much power has Mancini got'!

I fucking despair.

And to say £55m could have been spent better elsewhere is an outrageous statement considering many of the other £15m+ players we already have at the club.

And for fucks sake how many times do people have to learn not to under estimate foreigners in their first season in the premiership! To right off Dzeko and Yaya are the ramblings of people with serious agendas.

dzeko +yaya 55M

santa cruz + lescott + bridge 55M

You really do have anger issues, don't you?

Have you ever thought that maybe a football forum isn't the best place for you if you only want to hear your point of view?

Just a thought.

Anger? I'm literally pissing myself at the usual suspects creaming themselves as they bend each other over whilst actually making stuff up!

It's ironic you saying that about me not liking opinions though as I have very clearly stated a few times recently that you personally are very good at debating and you making good points even if I don't agree with them. Here however, you are talking utter shite.

Shall I tell you why Yaya is exactly a Mancini player? Well, who does he remind you of, Vieira perhaps? Which manager wanted Vieira and the younger version, Yaya? Bingo!!!

I'm sure it was mancini who wanted Yaya. He said he remembered him from his Monaco days playing as attacking midfielder, making them surging runs.

Careful mate, that doesn't fit an agenda.

What's more surprising is that City have bought one of the most sought after strikers in Europe when they only had Tevez and a much injured Balotelli to call up on, excluding Jo of course. Honestly is baffling some of the stuff people come out with on here!

Injuries to AJ and Milner and SWP's inability to control the ball mean Silva's the only RW, means Yaya's the's the only AM.

Injuries to NDJ and Milner mean whichever midfield we select will be a bit cumbersome.

Injuries to NDJ Milner and AJ mean Yaya and Barry aren't getting any rest.

People don't want to hear it but by Friday, we will have played 6 more games than Spurs (for example) since Christmas.

Yaya has made more starts than any other outfield player this season. He has played eight times in the last month.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

That's a good post, Chick. I think it was about 5/6 weeks ago I said he was starting to become the most important player for us because we'd been struggling to link the midfield and attack. Yaya was playing very well but the necessity to play him when he's been unfit, just coming back from injury or having played too many games in succession has taken its toll on him. He's not been at his best recently but then none of the players have. He did play better on Sunday though and long may it continue because he is a very, very good footballer.

I've edited the post; of course I meant to say he's played 8 times in the last month.
