Also, those chipped long balls of his >
Under Mancini we too often tried to pass our way through narrow spaces, now we mix it up with wing play, longer balls, and the usual passing through the middle.

I'd disagree only marginally mind but he's definitely more accomplished in front of goal.Armaan said:A friend who's an Arsenal fan says he's better than "a prime Viera". That's some compliment that I wouldn't disagree with. Attacking wise he's an unstoppable beast.
Fair enough but if Yaya played in the attacking way he does now 4/5 years ago he'd have been even better that's the scary thing.Gaylord du Bois said:I'd disagree only marginally mind but he's definitely more accomplished in front of goal.Armaan said:A friend who's an Arsenal fan says he's better than "a prime Viera". Disagree. He's certainly the most influential player we've had since Bell, but Bell covered much more ground, scored many more goals, and tackled and tracked-back to far better effect - and he did that in 9 games out of 10. But Toure's not far behind and my favourite player since Bell, although Negredo's giving him a run for his money this season.

-- Sun Jan 19, 2014 12:34 am --

waspish said:Best midfielder we have ever had..
sorry Bell
I noticed that too. He scored an 'angry' goal.Citizen_Ando said:I love how unpredictable he is. You never know which Yaya will turn up and, in a way, its what makes him the player he is. Today, he was quality. Made me laugh that he was so pissed off at losing possession, he decided he'd score. That passage of play sums the guy up. Love him.
He'd have been unstoppable mate.Armaan said:Fair enough but if Yaya played in the attacking way he does now 4/5 years ago he'd have been even better that's the scary thing.Gaylord du Bois said:I'd disagree only marginally mind but he's definitely more accomplished in front of goal.Armaan said:A friend who's an Arsenal fan says he's better than "a prime Viera". he was instrumental in the attack.
Spot on.I wish people would stop prattling on about Yaya's defensive responsibilities.
HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY.
His job is to be free and available when the rest of the team win the ball back, and get it to the first player open.
