Ray Charles is that you,are you a Blue ?

Can't I have a different opinion?
Surely saying Touré would not make an all-time Premier League eleven does not constitute as "deliberate trolling", right?

thats a good debate mate, i would say only due to time playing in the PL this is the case though, if playing 4-4-2 my 1st choice in CM would be a prime Vieira, awesome in his day and one of my favourite players ever, but to play alongside him i would take YaYa over the others you have mentioned to make my best 11

Once Yaya has another few trophies under his belt, his claim will certainly be stronger than Gerrard and Fabregas, if it isn't already.
Don't waste your breath mate he's come to sell us a virus.

He's only 30, so I'd say that he has a couple of years left at the top level before he inevitably starts declining. I don't think he would ever make an all-time eleven (if it is indeed a 4-4-2) but he does have a case for the fourth or fifth group of centre midfielders.

IMO:

1) Keane-Scholes
2) Vieira-Gerrard
3) Lampard-Fàbregas

His longevity in the league is definitely a negative. In terms of ability he ranks highly. I'd like to see if he continues at this pace for the rest of the season, though.

Yes he is.
Easily.
Arguable.
See above
Yes.
Yes.

I think people will understand the greatness and uniqueness of Yaya's talents and worth when he finally retires (hopefully at City).

I really cannot think of any premier league player in the past that has his skill set. Paul Scholes (it has to be said) was an outstanding footballer in the midfield position but I believe Yaya has taken that to a different dimension with his physical attributes. Imagine it, Paul Scholes built like a hulk, with the energy of a stream train.

The media may not admit to Yaya's gifts and his position as the hands down best player in the league but deep down in their souls the truth torments them.

Anyway, we are lucky to have such a player and anybody that wants to be negative should for once watch the game of football and not rely on the agenda -driven media to paint their football picture.

Greatest player I've ever seen play for City. My dad, who's seen them all, agrees. Absolute pleasure to watch him every week. Greatest ever IMO.

He's a better passer. His passing game is the most underrated aspect of his game, particularly by some City fans.

And he's got quicker feet.

Viera obviously beats him for defensive reliability.
Imagine a midfield of those two :0

Hope that was fishing.

I was at that preseason game in Baltimore when Vieira was sent off. I was fucking ballistic at the ref. A fucking preseason game spectacle with Inter in a foreign country and he sends him off on a straight red for a very light elbow. I absolutely blew up.

if we were in the CL final tomorrow and 3 of our 4 MF were Nasri, Silva, Fern, who out of the 6 players you have given above would you have over YaYa in his spot ?
