I think Pep will keep him for one or two seasons. He still has a lot to offer.
Yup, a perfect summation Billy. And not just technical quality, but sheer power as well. We have somehow acquired a selection of small, non-tackling lightweights in midfield, who are easily bullied off the ball. The dippers couldn't do that to Ya Ya on Sunday, and nor could they prevent Fernandinho then tucking in to his right to snuff the threat of Coutinho out. Without him last night it was a fucking car crash with vast gaps between Silva, Kun and our two 8 stone touchline huggers.
Yours and Billy's posts just about sums it all up for me. It's amazing how many people scapegoat him, then see us without him, and ask themselves "why did we ask for that" ? Hey hum.
Probably easier to compare performances a little bit closer together, like the two this week when we had almost identical sides out.
I am seriously worried about you.Has he shagged your missus? Your hatred is incredible.
He's at it all the time. His hatred of Yaya runs deep.I am seriously worried about you.Has he shagged your missus? Your hatred is incredible.
Stop talking sense .The thing is that we can't play without him, but when we play with him people say he contributes little. The reality is that we haven't been able to win without him for 5 years now. Management knows this and that's why we've been linked with Pogba for so long. In fact, I'm shocked we didn't go for Kondogbia too.
The only other player we have that can drop deep for the ball, pass under pressure AND run with it at his feet.......is Nasri. Silva can do it, but if he does it then that gives the entire opposition defence time to reorganize and slows us down. Nasri has been a bigger miss than we realize
I bet he can't wait to hear it. Go on, spit it out.
I expect you'll be waiting a long time, if not forever.
