Yaya

The problem is Yaya can't do 50% of his job role and Fernando is exactly the same, one due to physical limitations, the other due to technical limitations. Either way we need them both out at the end of the season and Delph fit as soon as possible this season. Not that Pellegrini will pick him above Yaya because he cost less.

Two of our past three games Yaya has missed and we have been woeful yet people still come out with this shite. Delphi isn't fit to smell a Yaya fart never mind replace him on the pitch.

And it's fine to have two midfielders with a complete different skill set but what's important in that situation is that the boss knows how to use them to get the most out of them for the team. Our manager has never managed to do anything of the sort.

Managed & motivated correctly & used strategically YAYA can play for another 2/3years.

There is no other player that can run a game like he does. His passing range is just unique. Give,go pass, move, receive, recycle, shoot, score pass, move, pass, pass, give,go !!

We've been privileged to watch one of the 'Big Beasts' of the modern era.

Unfortunately, due to the complete incompetence of the 'coach' in a season that will be remembered more for what we've lost rather than for what we've won I fear that YAYA will be part of the Pep revolution.

He deserves to be remembered as a legend.

It's easy to slag off Fernando, whilst you conveniently ignore Fernandinho. You say Fernando is dross in his attacking game, but I'd like to know what you think about Fernandinho's capabilities leading the line at the middle of the park. He is about the best assistant/supporter we have but can you look in the mirror and say with Fernandinho leading in the middle, we'll finish within top 4 this season?

Just look at 53rd minute, pretty sure both Ferns were jogging back in way Yaya gets slagged for.

Team is worse without Yaya.

Ya ya,kompany and Sergio are our 3 main guys, the only true world class players we have, it will be interesting to see what pep does, will he build a team around toure to protect his negatives or just call time on him, I think it will be the latter

amen brother. one more thing, I realized that even when we have guys that supposedly have the legs, and we are beaten in the middle of the park, some people still blame the big man who is supposed to be the furtherest of the three as ono points out quite often whilst they ignore or downplay the obvious fact that whenever Komps is out of the team, our back 6 somehow struggle to hold their own. It's not a surprise really because they have publicly expressed their dislike for this man, so obviously there's some judging with anti-toure specs on involved here.

With or without Yaya we've been fucking shite for 18 months/2 years in midfield because we're so slow and predictable. The way we're playing simply isn't working, certainly not consistently.

Why stick with it? Why not try something different?

We all know Fernando isn't the answer because of his technical limitations, so the only other option (when fit) is Delph. Do I think he's the long term solution? Absolutely not. Do I think he's technically better than Yaya? Absolutely not. He would however allow us to change our style, allow the team to play high pressing, high intensity football. I don't know whether it would work or not, nobody does but it has to be worth a fucking go because if we stick to the slow bullshit we're currently playing I personally don't think we'll get in the top four, unless the other teams around us fuck up.
