Young Lads In Long Term Relationships

thanks for that lol

Not meant to be a sleight, but it's true! In the young, it's fine at first, BUT when you grow into maturity, it's very VERY rare for the relationship to survive. Not impossible, mind.

I think there tends to be resentment from one to the other in the evolving of their partner or that their partner won't evolve, as well. This usually leads to cheating at some point. And it's not always the case that the truth will come out.

It's just life.

And it may not happen! But it's likely it will!

PMSL!! Life is difficult!

Too right Bigga, too many people have been watching too many romcoms and expect it all to be a bed of roses, people need to be realistic-affairs happen, if you think a drunken snog/shag from either party is grounds to end a marriage then your a mug.

My cousin met and married his wife within 6 weeks of meeting her and no she wasn't pregnant. They were both 18 at the time. They have been married for 32 years, have 4 kids, 3 grandchildren and are both very happy.

One of those rare stories I'm envious of.

I always thought I would be one of those, but, alas...

Still, I'm very happy where I am, 20 yrs down the line! I wouldn't have had anywhere near the delights and experiences I've had and married the woman I'm with!

So, it's bitter sweet!

But the same mug could also pertain to somebody who thinks that a drunken snog/shag is grounds for an trusty and respectful relationship!

Affairs happen, yes - but it's not 100% guaranteed.

Personally I would class a 'drunken snog/shag' as grounds for divorce or termination of a relationship. Drunkeness, or any kind of intoxication, is not a valid excuse for anything in my eyes.

This is also very much true!

I have always viewed the consumption of alcohol that leads to sex as an excuse to do something you could not do without alibi(if you know what I mean!). That's why I don't drink. I've never wanted the crutch as an excuse for my behaviour...

Plus it tastes sh*t!
