Your best day as a City fan?

Has to be Gillingham '99 - What a climax to an awful season, i was 11 in '99 and i went to every home game and a fair few aways that season.

I remember being stood in Wembley at 2-0 down, in absolute floods of tears thinking it was the end of MCFC. The sheer joy of seeing Dickov slip the ball past Bartram is something that'll stay with me forever.

I think after that everybody knew we were going to win after that, apart from the slight hesitation when Edghill came forward to take a penalty :)

Winning the league, FA Cup and stuffing the rags were still some of the most unbelievable days of my life, but we could've lost the lot and gone on to fight another day. I dont think we would've been so lucky had we lost against Gillingham on that day in May.

Charlton 85

The heat, the massively overcrowded Kippax, the amazing atmosphere, City were my whole world back then

Prem Win.....easy call....I was a 40+ emotional wreck that day....always on my mind....on way to work today I was reliving the walk from stadium into town after game.... crying, laughing, hugging mates on the way.....that will be hard to beat.....still get tingles down my spine watching it....

Prem last season for me. The rollercoaster ride of a season summed up what been a City fan was to me joy to utter despair and then that final match was all my my City life rolled into one single match, the last five minutes will never ever be bettered, I don't care if we win the next 25 Premierships or CL 15 times in a row, to win that title in the manner we did ripping it from the rags grasp in the final seconds, the pure emotion in that stadium as Agueroooo put the ball in the back of the net, I cried like a baby at 43 so much disappointment, agony and all those bad days disappeared forever, if you could bottle that euphoria in the stadium in those final minutes and sell it you would be a very rich man. I'll be able to take that to my grave to say I was there to share that moment with al, those fans, that defining moment in our history, it will never ever be bettered.

I think it's an age thing because anyone aged 45-55 grew up with City being a major force, but weren't quite old enough to enjoy the Mercer/Allison period.

It all went downhill when we reached adulthood, but we stayed loyal and thanks to our dedication the attendances were higher than the club deserved.

The Aguero goal will never be bettered for that reason alone.
