Sat with my lad on the front row of the top tier in the semi against the rags. Level with the goal line. It was like the ball was in slow motion. It just seemed like it would never go in. I'm shit scared of heights so when everyone did the posnan I held onto my seat. Memories with City go back many years. Ups & downs, but no one will ever take that one away. Like my 1st leg over, some memories will stay for ever.

I was at Blackburn. I was at the semi-final and final of the FA Cup. I was at the Sick Swan. Still Gillingham 99 for sheer ecstasy.

Agree...I've said to many folk that wembley 99 was like a religious experience. From the depths of despair and hopelessness to euphoria in the space of 5 minutes. Not sure what else in life can compare to the mixed emotions of that day.

Wembley 11 I was tearful (semi and final) but 99 I was overpowered by the enormity of it..of seeing 55,000 blues...seeing Dickovs goal still sends tingles
