Your best day as a City fan??

As you're all being boring, there was a day in late August '97 when I was on holiday in Tenerife, and (given I was only 17 at the time) the best looking girl I'd ever seen clocked my city shirt on the beach and came over for a chat. She was 20 and at uni whilst I was still at school.. Anyway, one thing led to another and I had not only a good day, but a hugely memorable and educational two weeks, and all thanks to that wonderful Kappa shirt.

But the 10-1 was pretty good. As was the Gillingham game, Bradford away in '89, the semi and the final, and every single time i've seen us beat united. Though the Doncaster away pre-season friendly about 8 years ago will live long in my heart as a top top day out.

Semi Final at Villa Park against Everton 1969.
Tommy Booths last minute winner meant I went to Wembley for the first time ever,with Nelly Youngs superb goal well worth the 5/- (5 bob i think it was) ticket.

oh forgot - popped my cherry the day we beat spurs 5-2 under Brian Horton. Great Day.

Ahh that sucks mate, i hope whatever it is gets resolved, sucks seeing decent posters leave.
