Used to be a Roydon in Flixton where I grew up. He'll be pushing 50 now.My paternal grandfather had a fight with a guy on the day my dad was born. My dad was given the same name as the guy his father fought - Roydon. I've not known of anyone else with that first name.
When you say 'had a fight', do you mean as in a boxing match, or down the pub/hospital/dairy?

I think it gives me a air of mystery, a slight hint of danger & menace, people dont know what to expect, women are intrigued as to why I have such a unusual & interesting name & to be honest find themselves drawn to my irresistible allure, (which can be a nuisance on the bus) it sounds both exotic & exciting at the same time,
