My name was chosen because both my Grandfathers were called it. It’s biblical too. It’s kind of boring, but I’m not, so, swings and roundabouts.

My ERO mentioned at one point that he would have liked the name Vercingetorix. If he'd had told me when I was down the registry office I could have added that as an additional name. I always liked those old -fashioned biblical names - Jedediah, Obediah, Jabez!

My paternal grandfather had a fight with a guy on the day my dad was born. My dad was given the same name as the guy his father fought - Roydon. I've not known of anyone else with that first name.
