the NRA are an organization, but very outdated

there mandate is still the constitution, which was a different time and a different place.

I would like to be able to carry arms in this country for defence, but the law says otherwise so I hold replicas. I would feel safer if I could carry the real thing.

i think the last bastion of hope will be lost if we ever arm our police force, it's a terrible idea - regardless of the moral issues. no no no no no!

as for you carrying a replica, well...

AK-47. The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherfucker in the room, accept no substitutes.

no but id put money on the people who use guns for crime get hooked on the power they have over people when holding a gun therefore we have gun crime, banning them wont solve it neither will giving everyone the right to bear arms like the yanks have done, the only way to do it like anything else is to find the source and stop them but the consequences of this could be fatal i reckon, these illusive WMD's whos to say that arms smugglers have'nt got them

More guns per people in Canada i believe and they dont have much gun problems.

We don't allow handguns or automatic weapons over here, that's one reason gun crime is nothing like the States. The other reason is, B.C bud, Canadians are a lot more chilled. And leave the Bears arms alone, they need them to eat.

Now I shoot small game with an Air Arms s 410 with a good scope - I never miss.

Occasionally go deer stalking in Scotland and we shoot .65 calibre rifles - supplied by the estate.

410 is a shot gun calibre which dont normally have the range to need a scope.
those deer up in scotland must be 'kin huge to need .65 calibre bullet, a Sharps buffalo rifle was only .44 magnum. The Barret 50 cal needs a muzzle brake as big as a coke bottle and hydraulic recoil dampers so a 65 cal jeez that is some artillery.

What guns do you admire?

I have to say that for usability and the pure simplicity it would be the Webley revolver. It may not be a looker but its so reliable and can stop a man dead over 20m away. Its very British and has stood the test of time like no modern handgun ever could. It conjures up memories of Michael Caine blasting Zulus in the film ‘Zulu’.

The colt 45 semi auto is one of the best modern guns I have handled, and is a future great.

Anyone else like to throw some into the mix? Discuss.

do they check you at the gates before games?

shooting animals is a bit nasty

why not act like real men and use your fists?

why? because you can't chase a dear - the slyness of humankind is horrific.
