Your personal lowest point as a City fan

A 5-0 defeat to Newcastle in 1983 really resonates for me. We had got relegated the previous year and thought we were going to bounce straight back.

I was at university at the time and just stayed in my room all night.

The same year we lost 3-2 at home to Huddersfield - that was a tough one to swallow.

And a few years back we lost 4-2 to the rags in the FA Cup - they could even afford to have Gary Neville sent off and they still beat us.

Wanted to give up there and then.

Finally losing 2-1 at home to Everton In December 2010.

I'll have to finish there - this is all getting too depressing for me.

- Allan Ball relegation
- Division 1 relegation
- West Ham beating us at home in the F.A. Cup under Pearce. One of the few things to hold onto in that second half of the season, and we blew it.

Thought of another one.....

Losing 3-1 at home to Watford in the FA Cup 4th round 2nd replay in 1986.

I'm on a downward spiral here.

I was at this game , and we were truly awful ...... Newcastle had the big names in their side , Gascoigne , keegan , Waddle etc

It kicked off in the open end , and the atmosphere was pretty hostile all afternoon , from the minute we disembarked the special train at Manors station to the walk to the ground from where the buses dropped us of ..... it was a terrible result for us I agree.

And then they turned us over 2-1 at Maine Road later in the year.

Bad, bad memories.

Could've been on the last day of the season, until Balotelli Agggguuueeerrrrrroooooooooooo !. That apart can't really think of any because I became immune to low points after endless downs in the past. The only one I can think of, is when Pearce missed the penalty v Pompey, in his last game, to take us to 100 goals.

It's ace being a City fan and regardless of the tribulations of the past, I wouldn't swap any of it for the world.

A 1-0 home defeat to Reading in Div 2. I'd stopped going to away games that season so that was a low I remember

FA Cup Final defeat to Spurs was another heavy blow

This. went with blue2112 nightmare.fucking nightmare. feel sick thinking about it now. never want to experience that again, please god no.

It was 4-0 I swear it because I only ever saw 4 goals as I was half way up Warwick Road unbelievably surrounded by Rags making an early exit to catch the Euston train presumably when the 5th went in. Fucking C**ts couldn't even be bothered to soak up their revenge for the 5-1 and they call themselves class.
