Your personal lowest point as a City fan

Let's get some perspective. Anyone that says "yesterday" should get permabanned.

I think the first of many low points was relegation at the hands of Luton in 83. Then obviously we had that really dark age 1998-1999.

I think from my point of view its more I'm disappointed about yesterday. I think the problem is expectations are the highest I've ever known. The rhetoric coming out of the club backs this and I think supporters can see that this season we've gone backwards as a first Team wise. We all know whats going on behind the scenes which is fantastic, but for the Rags to have all but won the league in early February shows what a feeble effort we made in trying retain the Championship. Ultimately I'm sure there will be a painful debrief by our owners in the Summer, and someone will be held accountable thats for sure. But hey we pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down. If you had told me when we were 2-0 down to Gillingham all that has been achieved, with Champions League football virtually secured for the third season on the spin, I'd have told you to stop messing with those mushrooms!!

my personal one is probably losing 4-0 away to Wigan about 5, 6 years ago when MJ made his debut, it just confirmed to me that we were probably going to get relegated again sooner or later

.............and another one..

Losing 3-1 away to Sunderland in the FA Cup replay in 1973.

Nurse, pass me the pills. This is all getting too much for me.

Do we not have a counsellor on call - I feel in need of some serious therapy.
Glad someone else has this one. I truly believed we would win the cup that year. When we lost it struck me that we would probably never win anything else with the King, Buzzer and Lee One Pen in the same team and a little bit of me died. Of course I was only 10 and cried my eyes out.

Liverpool on the last day we went down. There were lower points of course, Division 2 being the most obvious. But that day hurt, especially the confusion of whether we were down or not.

Getting beat at home 1-0 by Huddersfield in 1999 I think it was. Barry horne completely ran the show. Depressing

Im only young but was at the 8-1 Boro game the players had give up Takshins money was frozen Sven was on the way out and we looked to be on a dark road portsmouth style. Oh and on the way home them cunts had just won the league at Wigan.
