That's undeniable. When I talked about 'non-entities unworthy of my attention...' it was a reference to those few Ipswich fans responsible for a single banner that appears to be the source of anger for some blues over 20 years later!

It's what football fans do mate - we bear grudges forever. I met a City fan at an away game a few years back and he despises Aston Villa primarily because they fucked us over 118 years ago. Although it was long before he was born, he's never going to forgive them for that. And the fact that their fans have turned into massive bellends recently will ensure that his hatred will only grow.

I have an irrational hatred to Ipswich. It's since the first time I saw us play them in full members cup at ours. We lost 3-2 I think? Paul Cooper's piss taking which at one point he was holding the ball and walking behind the goal line clinched it for me. I was a kid at the time but the grievance is still there and it was revived when that shit busker Sheeran backed them.
