Yves Bissouma

Maybe he's an alternative replacement for Bernardo.
I love Bernardo so happier if he stays but should he go I want a fighter in the middle to replace him not another attacking player.

(I didnt get the Grealish for Bernardo point of view. I can only see Grealish for Sterling or Mahrez. Two seasons ago I'd have wanted Mahrez replaced, last season I wanted Sterling replaced... I still do despite his good Euros but happy to be wrong if he can perform at his best for us again.)

Only if Pep has been influeced by Southgates Euro tactics.
Bissouma isn't like Rodri, he's not a specialist holder.
He is much more similar to Wijnaldum or a young Ferna, who were box-to-box players.
He has excellent technique, he's quick, confident, a brilliant dribbler, physically imposing and has stamina for days.

I would not be surprised to see a midfield of this should we sign him:

Bissouma------de Bruyne
-----------Rodri

Can't see it myself, not when we have Gundogan and I still think we will go for Grealish to replace Bernardo. Think Bissouma while we still have Fernadinho is very unlikely.

Not having a pop, but anyone who believes what’s written on newsnow needs there head examined..
If we sign a top striker, I would think jesus is done with us.

He has played understudy to Kun long enough, in my opinion he will never be first choice for us and I can understand if he wanted to leave.

Transfer noise comes in many forms.

Well that’s small time thinking, we play what upto 60 games a season, and you think if we sign a top striker City would sell Jesus, not a chance, what if said “top striker” picks up a long term injury, rotation, tiredness, you need a big squad in a Pep team, its not about the first eleven, and thankfully Jesus understands this.

small time thinking?

Full Brazilian international happy to spend time on the bench?

He is too good a player not to be first choice , at his age he needs regular football.

Jesus knows it’s a squad game, he’s said as such on many occasions last season when interviewed after a game.

when I say ‘small time thinking’ your falling into the trap of, if we get Kane, Haaland, Ings, etc we will sell Jesus, no way Jesus will be playing alongside those players.

Stop believing the shit written about Jesus, hes a tough kid, who loves playing alongside his comrades Ederson and Fernandinho

Sounds like he has been in Danilo's ear

Rodri was second only to Dias in PL minutes played by an outfield player.

In short, the spine of the team established last season was Ederson, Dias, & Rodri. Pep made that decision, so no-one needed a text or FaceTime from him.

I’d love to see the numbers for Sané, if you have them,
Yes and he was then dropped for the big games that really mattered at the end of the season. But we don't need to go into that here I'm not going to turn this into a Rodri thread.

We're linked to a holding midfielder, Fernandinho has just signed a new contract, I don't think suggesting Rodri could be on his way out to make way for it is anything unbelievable.
