No way on this planet is Micah worth anywhere near that! Take those blue tinted glasses off!

He's good going forward, average at defending and horrendous first touch.
His strength and speed masks a lot.

Micah for me. He was vital in our title winning season, especially during the early parts. Zaba is the better defender and deservedly got a lot of credit because he's only of the few backs around these that defend well.

I'd expect both to split the right back position, with Zab filling in all over the place as he can too.

it is true that zabaleta is not the best defender. he is "ok" but not what we need. he struggled vs adebayor, hazard, ronaldo etc

Who hasn't struggled against Ronaldo? And Adebayor I remember getting bossed by Zaba both times this season, Hazard hardly did anything either. Zabaleta's defensive ability is unquestionably excellent.

I think he's getting mixed up with little Tommy Cannon..

Incredible? £30m? Give over. He offers more than Zabaleta going forward but a £30m right back is a Philipp Lahm/Maicon (at his peak) hybrid, not Micah Richards.

Richards everytime. I love Zab to death, but Micah has it all, he just needs to keep his concentration because if anything that's where he sometimes lets himself down.

It's a good thing he's such a physical monster and can recover from most of his positional fuck ups. TBH' I just count myself lucky that we've got them both.
