Him leaving is looking imminent but I think even the most sentimental City fan can see its the best time for him to leave. He's gave his all and we wont forget that but its just asking to much of him at this level now.

Yes. No one could ever accuse Zabs of not trying or caring. His body can't do it in this league any more. But in a different league he still could. Happy for him to get one last good move if he wants.

Possibly. But it may purely depend on how many come in. If Denayer replaces Demi for instance, a rb could be signed & still leave a squad place for Zabba. Then it would be his decision.

The only thing that could save his City career right now would be him saying he has retired from International football with immediate effect and will be spending the summer ensuring he is fit and firing for the start of the new season and even that might not be enough if Pep doesn't want him.

I suspect the latter and he already knows.

Yeah but I think it will be his 2nd position rather than as a first choice.

What a load of bullshit......given a decent run of games maybe 5 or 6 on the trot then I'm sure we would see zabbas form and fitness improve and him getting back to the player of last season.
Him getting injured in pre season gave Sagna a chance with us and he has took it with his consistent performances.Zabaleta and pellegrini both know this therefore putting noses out of joint and him only getting the odd game here or there.
His performance yesterday replicated that of a player who has given us everything for years knowing he wasn't needed for the biggest club match of his life and the clubs recent history.
The guy just needs a break and a run of games just like Sagna got.
