Disagree, saw him quite often at Celtic, and a few videos of his time at Galatasaray, he's definitely more effective at attacking than Sagna. He's more skillful, more composed, more aggressive, a better crosser and passer.Hype again.... potentially he will be a better option but not even close!!!
He scored more goals in one season at Celtic than Sagna has in his career, from a different position granted, but still.
Didn't say he was a better player overall though.

Disagree, saw him quite often at Celtic, and a few videos of his time at Galatasaray, he's definitely more effective at attacking than Sagna. He's more skillful, more composed, more aggressive, a better crosser and passer.
He scored more goals in one season at Celtic than Sagna has in his career, from a different position granted, but still.
Didn't say he was a better player overall though.
I know you didn't mate, however, using the celtic example is extremely easy.
Half my family are Celtic fans, they think Boyatta is a Baresi incarnate.... look at Roberts, he has torn the league to shreds since arriving, do you think he's ready for the Prem?
Denayer was also playing a different position at Galatasaray, again though, substandard to the league Sagna plays in..
Potentially Denayer has all the attributes but he's far from Sagna's level as it stands!!!

Hopefully we'll see next season, but i have little doubt he'd offer more going forwards than Sagna but be shakier defensively.

Denayer is a fantastic prospect but he'd of struggled in a set up like Manuel has put out... expectation levels are going up, these need to be managed as he is still extremely raw!!!!

yhp, but the only way we'll find out if he can compete with Sagna is by giving him a shot next season. I think he's gone away and done what's been asked of him and deserves that chance now.
I would be gutted to see Pablo go, A player who has Man City running through his heart !! He needs to stay if its just for him pushing his passion onto new recruits. One of my all time fave players and his wife is up there for signing he is the fucking man with verve on the pitch when she was pregnant.

I know last season was tricky with injury but Zab is still a quality player and only 31. I love Zab. Chelsea are apparently looking to make Lichsteiner Conte's first signing, (he's a 32year old right back.)
