Zabaleta confirms he will stay at City

Let him come back have a chat with Pep then see if he wants to stay or is wanted ny the mamager, he is a blue and a Manc by default so we can afford him that.

all thing must pass and leaving when on top is great for him we will always have a spot in our hearts for zabba

Couldnt agree more. Love the fella and will always have a huge soft spot for him, but when the time is right, its right....and its right.

Yaya is the most glaring example in all of football today of what can happen when you hold on too long.

Listening to Pep yesterday about wanting great team spirit,i cant stop thinking why let Zab go then.
This man oozes City,he loves the club, the fans and fights till the end.Must be a role for zab.
That was exactly my thought as well. Zab is City through and through and along with Vinnie are absolute leaders of the team. They both embody exactly what Pep was talking about in that interview and even if its as a backup role i still think Zab has a lot to offer us. He is an absolute hero of mine and would hate to see him go.

Kolarov, who we know is about to move wasn't at training today but Zabaleta was so that may be something to hang on to. Or it could mean nothing but who am I to destroy the hopes of millions of City fans?

The difference between Zaba and Yaya is Zaba lives and breathes the club, his passion is endless. I think he'd be good for another year, however I wouldn't be opposed to using Maffeo as backup to Sagna next season and letting Zab go if that's what he wants.

Completely agree about the passion, but not sure I could stand to watch Pablo struggle again like he did last season. It was tough to watch at times.

Hoping the struggles were a by product of his injury, the attacking zab from a couple of years ago would have absolutely thrived in a Pep team.

He said last night he wants to stay. Had a meeting with Pep today to see if he's in this seasons plans. If he leaves for wherever it will be because he's not in Pep's plans. Loves the club.

I think last year was different as the team was fairly stagnant thanks to a manager who suffered from a lack of planning and impetus, I think he'd do a lot better this year in a team that fights for each other

I want him to stay but I don't see how. He doesn't have the pace when wingers bust him on the outside. Will always over him to bits though.

Zab puts the man into Manchester. Legend. Has bled for the cause on many occasions. Deserves respect and perhaps a testimonial but he was off the pace last year. Would prefer if he ended his career with dignity elsewhere than simply fade from view here.

He is on that back to training video. It's so nice to see him at City again.

Can't see him leaving. Btw, it's quite funny to read all these comments saying he's not good enough or that he has been bad and/or that he will never be on form again, etc. Ridiculous

Is it just me or has Pep got a bit of a dodgy right leg? Look bow legged

Have to sign another manager in case his leg gives out during the season. I did hear of a chairman once who broke his leg in a cup final . Probably a fairy tale though, as no one has ever talked about it. As for Zab ?
Zabba please don't go
Zabba please don't go
Zabba please don't go ,on to anywhere else
You know we love you so
Zabba please don't go

Appologies to the Animals.

If Pep decides he stays,he stays.
Should he leave,he'll always remain Mr
Manchester and a club legend.
Serie A might suit him at this stage.
Recently wingers in the league have been
tearing him a new one..Don't want it to
reach a point where fans 'hate' him for
his performances like to a certain extent
with Yaya.
