Let him come back have a chat with Pep then see if he wants to stay or is wanted ny the mamager, he is a blue and a Manc by default so we can afford him that.
all thing must pass and leaving when on top is great for him we will always have a spot in our hearts for zabba
That was exactly my thought as well. Zab is City through and through and along with Vinnie are absolute leaders of the team. They both embody exactly what Pep was talking about in that interview and even if its as a backup role i still think Zab has a lot to offer us. He is an absolute hero of mine and would hate to see him go.Listening to Pep yesterday about wanting great team spirit,i cant stop thinking why let Zab go then.
This man oozes City,he loves the club, the fans and fights till the end.Must be a role for zab.
Kolarov, who we know is about to move wasn't at training today but Zabaleta was so that may be something to hang on to. Or it could mean nothing but who am I to destroy the hopes of millions of City fans?
It dosnt de jong was on the team picture and taken off it to go to ac Milan in the afternooni think it s means nothing .....cabba and bony may leave but they were there today
The difference between Zaba and Yaya is Zaba lives and breathes the club, his passion is endless. I think he'd be good for another year, however I wouldn't be opposed to using Maffeo as backup to Sagna next season and letting Zab go if that's what he wants.Couldnt agree more. Love the fella and will always have a huge soft spot for him, but when the time is right, its right....and its right.
Yaya is the most glaring example in all of football today of what can happen when you hold on too long.

Could he not play as a DM? Just a terrier to regain possession?
I think last year was different as the team was fairly stagnant thanks to a manager who suffered from a lack of planning and impetus, I think he'd do a lot better this year in a team that fights for each otherCompletely agree about the passion, but not sure I could stand to watch Pablo struggle again like he did last season. It was tough to watch at times.
Hoping the struggles were a by product of his injury, the attacking zab from a couple of years ago would have absolutely thrived in a Pep team.
He is on that back to training video. It's so nice to see him at City again.
Can't see him leaving. Btw, it's quite funny to read all these comments saying he's not good enough or that he has been bad and/or that he will never be on form again, etc. Ridiculous
Have to sign another manager in case his leg gives out during the season. I did hear of a chairman once who broke his leg in a cup final . Probably a fairy tale though, as no one has ever talked about it. As for Zab ?Is it just me or has Pep got a bit of a dodgy right leg? Look bow legged
He must've been backing Stone Island badge too often. Is it just me or has Pep got a bit of a dodgy right leg? Look bow legged
