dont forget lads wasnt that long back all our hopes was resting on the likes of ishmael miller and bradley wright-phillips

I don't think anyone has, however, that is now irrelevant.

Spot on, just face it lads Ibrahimovic excels playing a style of football unlike our own that is quick and direct rather than patient, efficient possesion with an emphasis on team play. I also don't think players like Silva or Nasri would excel playing this style or playing alongside Ibrahimovic, Mario is improving his back to goal skillset and was excellent away at Porto, he did n't score but bullied a big strong defence and a goal came because of this. Im not interested in a player like Ibrahimovic who stolls around lethargically whilst his team mates put in a shift, what is the point of signing he is n't a young player, would have high wages would n't improve us as a team and the goals he would score are irrelevant as we already have two 20-goals-a-season strikers in Tevez and Aguero and two players who can score at least 10 and are capable of scoring 20 goals as well.

We don't need a new striker this season and we should infact be looking as younger players for the future; players like John Guidetti and Jose Angel Pozo.
Just look at the Zlatan vs france, video above, his playmaking skills are unreal world class and hes not even a playmaker.

The Boss !!!

So good, it's unreal

Zlatan's agent said yesterday he wouldn't comment on wether he would stay in Milan. "Ask Berlusconi, I don't want to put my hands into that open fire."

Zlatan the best forward of the Euro group stages.

Our star man up front will no longer be gracing the tournament with his presence, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic making it abundantly clear that Sweden's departure will mean that he will be heading straight off on holiday. Luckily for England, before he left the Milan forward had time to score a stunning volley to ensure Hodgson's men topped Group D over France. The goal was his second of the tournament and one of 11 shots from his deeper role in the national side. He also contributed 2.7 key passes per game, though it wasn't enough to avoid an early exit.

Where the rumors from mate?

dario marcolin , mancini's very close friends on sky sport italy . he said dzeko did ok but not too good and ibra could do very well

before anyone says... BUT HE IS 31 IN OCTOBER!

zlatan has just had his best season of his career (28 goals in 32 league games)
would be a great signing imo, i really like dzeko, but the reality is that he is probably just a not so good version of Zlatan

Whoopsi daisy. Marcolin knows his stuff when it comes to Bobby, lets cross our fingers.

Mancio, what's your opinion on Ibra as a Inter supporter?

i love him even if is a ac milan player.... that says all

I knew this Would happen one day with ibra but I always think he'd be a flop if he came to city and I don't kno why.

If we sign Zlatan we go from favourite to win the league to Red hot favourite.
The man is a beast with unbelievable technical ability .
Zlatan could play with all three strikers if Edin does go.
This transfer would send shockwaves across Europe.
