Zonal Marking?

I like it, football is a simple game and I think zonal markings (when done well) is. Ball comes into your area you head it clear. It gives players more freedom and you can worry less about those around you and TBH we don't have a great deal of choice as it is. There's no point trying to man mark giants like Huth with a team full of midgets.

It's way to complicated for players to use & far to easy to defeat.
Our last 2 games would suggest we have a problem because players are just being left unmarked especially at the back post.
Are we zonal marking or are players being lazy & not marking free players.??
I know the loss of Ade or Santa at the front post has put pressure on our CH's but we need everyone chipping in.

Never really been a lover or a hater of it, but if it works then i'm happy, the defence has improved big time though.
