Yet again changes are taking place to make the test more "realistic" independent driving will last 20 min and the candidate will have to follow instructions from a sat nav (that will be fun)most of the maneuvers are scrapped but driving in and reversing out of a bay is on the cards .

Exactly, my mate years ago got stuck at the bottom of Robin Hood Bay and had to reverse all the way back up

Also Carbis can be a bit of nightmare for St Ives, but Morecambe is a piece of piss.

Laughed at Robin Hoods Bay as we visited that mid 80's as my mate wanted to see this house that Captain Cook may have stayed in, then we went south to Ravenscar to have lunch tea and scones, and then play golf across the cliffs only to be finally towed home 90 miles because his triumph dolomite sprint had blown something in the engine.

Are things like using indicators and looking at roundabouts included? Seems to be missing in much modern driving these days.

Independant driving was in my test 8 mnth ago. The reality is the instructor gave me about 5 instructions and i could ask her to reiterate the directions. (nerves and memory don't make good bedfellows)Not difficult but i was nervous about it before the test.
