Its time for the break up......the core/spine of the team needs refreshing. No point getting weepy about it.

Couldnt agree more. Even though it appears his legs have gone, his desire remains and he's one player i could never imagine going out there and mailing it in. He might not be as good as he was but its not throuhg lack of effort. This guys legacy is intact.I'd change that remark about Zab before you get slaughtered on here,I don't know how old you are but you will have never seen such a commited player to this club like he has been,on and off the field, his legacy could never be tarnished, and am sure plenty will agree
Zabaleta can leave with his head held high, Demichelis too to a much lesser extent. Yaya will go under a bit of cloud, not as much as his own form but the pronouncements from his agent. Caballero had one great day at Wembley. Fernando has had some good moments but not enough and he is both too specialised and not comfortable enough on the ball for Pep. Mangala appears to be up for grabs, largely I would say due to his deficiencies as a footballing defender, though he is a better defender then he is given credit for. Bony simply doesn't fit in at City. Kolarov is done at City, his performance at Southampton was a giant sulk, careless, lazy and complacent.
That is 8 senior pros very likely to leave!
I'd keep hold of Mangala and give Otamendi the boot personally. They both have their pros and cons but the gnome goes to ground like a 13 year old and is a total liability, pretty shit in the air as well, at least that's what I see. Opinions differ.
AND I get where you're coming from but I'd keep Fernando, does a decent job in the "right" system (which is kinda your point I guess).
The rest I agree with 100%, in some cases it's a shame, in others it's a pity it's taken so long. The only reason why I wouldn't add Delph to that list (just yet) is because of his passport, but if we could get around that (promote youth (?)) I'd have him out as well.
We'll be doing a "BIG SHOP" this summer.
Interesting point about Mangala and Otamendi and I think you maybe right. Mangala looks so bad because he is dragged out to cover Kolarov so much - I'm not sure how good he is though and will trust the judgement of the new boss. Otamendi looked so much more comfortable playing against Real perhaps La Liga is perfect for his game? If he plays well tomorrow his stock will remain steady and I would sell as I agree he is a little too reckless and gets caught out so much in a higher tempo league like ours. I think he will replace Fernando and Delph because to me the one glaring weakness of our midfield is not one of our players apart from DeBruyne can pass more than 10 feet! Alonso in his pomp would be ideal.I'd keep hold of Mangala and give Otamendi the boot personally.
