Interestingly when jovetic made it on the pitch in 14/15 we won 48% of games , when Bony has made it on to the pitch since Jan we have won 68% of games.

This is a far more telling stat about their impact on the team

that stat is very misleading...bony comes into games where we usually have the lead to take out aguero and hold the ball up, jovetic was put into games to add more offense if we were losing or tied....jovetic either was injured or underused in his time here, you could argue the same for bony

Bony leading the line on derby day? Hmm, we'll see how does against Bournemouth first. If he doesn't score one against Bournemouth at home then we should not play him at Old Trafford.

He's a superb player. He's scored at OT before, against them at the Liberty. I'm sure he'll be fine.
He hasn't shown that recently, has he? Let's not have blind faith here. If he's not performing, he's dropped. It's the case with any player.

When has he had a real chance to shine since he signed? He went to a tournament before kicking a ball for us and then has had a stop start period with injuries since his return. The games he has been involved in are normally won by the time he's introduced meaning the intensity of the match has slowed and the forward line don't get as many chances.
Now's his time to show us what he can do with a sustained start in the team. Hopefully he'll take his chance with both hands.

He's not really been giving a consistent run of games, he was excellent v West Brom, excellent v Palace. His one off display v Juve who marshaled him very well seems to have created an image in people's minds that he's not a good player, when in fact he's one of the best strikers in the league.

We'll see how he does. I was happy with his cameo against Newcastle, hopefully he plays like that rather than reverting to standing around. We need movement up top, he was starting to do that vs Newcastle.
