i would spend a disgusting amount on dele alli, to replace silva. goals from centre midfield can only help
He's nowhere near good enough for us. We need top quality players who will take us to that next level. Ox wont.
He's wank. 6 seasons at Arsenal and he has scored a grand total of 9 league goals. Dele Alli has more this season alone.
does isco score many goals? always thought he was a silva-like playmaker instead of a de bruyne-like goalscoring #10.surely we could sign isco to do that? for the price spuds would want for alli we could sign isco and weigl for midfield!
Yep, replacing Silva is a priority.. fuckinell.i would spend a disgusting amount on dele alli, to replace silva. goals from centre midfield can only help
i mean it in the same way jesus is there to replace aguero. silvas not getting any younger eitherYep, replacing Silva is a priority.. fuckinell.

My squad for next season:
Caballero
Bravo
Gunn
Sidibé
Maffeo
Bonucci
Stones
Kolarov
Kompany
Grimaldo
Henrichs
Fernandinho
Mooy
García
Silva
De Bruyne
Gundogan
Isco
Sané
Nolito
Sterling
Roberts
Aguero
Jesus
Iheanacho
A 25-man squad, 3 back from loan, 5 new signings, 6HG.
Our first target should be another winger IMO.
We desperately, desperately need someone capable of coming in for Sterling or Sané and carrying a similar threat. if it's Roberts, that'd brilliant, but if he's not good enough then we need someone quickly.
and what did de bruyne get the last season and the season before that? he's having a poor season in terms of goals. i think it's fair to say de bruyne is a different style of #10 to silva.De Bruyne who's only got 3 goals this season?
Isco is definitely a goal threat. He got roughly 1 in 4 at Malaga. At Real he's got fewer but he's often been shunted out wide and has had play time interrupted so it's hard to compare. He's definitely capable of scoring from outside the box which we've missed since Yaya stopped doing it.
If we want homegrown then Demerai Gray could be a good option. He looks brilliant every time I see him and most Leicester fans are baffled that he doesn't start every match.
Bravo is going to the confederations cup with Chile.Am I right in thinking there are no summer tournaments this year ? If so it'll be good for our squad to get a decent break and a proper pre season.
That's what he thinks :) Thanks.Bravo is going to the confederations cup with Chile.
Isco mbappe carvalho fabinho will want 1st team football .You have them replacing players who are not getting a game at the momentTo make this all work need to get good money for several players on loan (hard work as other clubs think we're a f*cking charity), I don't see anyway back for: Mangala, Nasri, Hart, Denayor, Bony (f*ck knows who'll take Bony) and not sure the likes of Zinchecnko and Roberts are ready., .... others, Maffeo, Angelino not sure about them either, I like Maffeo though ...
- Isco For Nolito (OK Isco prefers playing central but can play out wide as an out to in winger & he will eventually replace Silva)
- MBappe For Navas (Navas is a honest hard-working player but near zero end-product)
- Bertrand in (affordable, HG and IMO underrated)> Kolarov stays but as a backup CB
- Fabinho in (perfect for Pep's inverted full-back thing) > Replaces Sagna or Zab
- Van Dijk in for Otamendi (or Kompany if he can't get over injury issues). I think Pep prefers Laporte by the sounds of it, I prefer PL proven Van Dijk, he is also a very strong character/leader, something we need, especially when Kompany is missing. Think Adarabioyo may leave (don't think City will meet his new contract/wage demands).
- Carvalho in > Fernando out (On recent performances I think Yaya can do another year if he's happy to be a squad player & take a pay-cut ... IF!!
- If we get an unbelievable offer for Aguero and Aubameyang is attainable I would do that. I fancy Aubameyang would be excellent in PL, he has unbelievable pace and is excellent in the air too (a dimension we're missing). Aguero is a class player no doubt, but not sure he can meet the demands of a Pep team week in.week out, so lets cash in now while we can get silly money for him!
- We need a top keeper. Honestly I don't give a sh*t how good his feet are I don't want Bravo, even as a No.2. BTW please don't take this p*ss out of him at games it doesn't help our cause making him more nervous, some of the ironic cheers from City fans I heard in the South Stand when he made a save were embarrassing. How good are Butland's feet? Before he got injured I thought he was by far and away the best English keeper!! Big Willy deserves another year on his contract for me, unless we're planning on promoting Gunn.
Forget trying to sign Spurs players as Levy is a c*nt and would ask for unrealistic fees for Ali and Rose (it would literally be in the region of £130m - £140m for the two)
I think my view was that at a minimum we needed those 4. I'm always for more. :)I agree we need more squad depth, but Mbappe isn't the answer.
When GJ comes back it'll be the same question being asked as before, bench Aguero or not? Another forward similar to Jesus won't help much at all.
FWIW We also need to be in on at least one CB and a CM. Keeping and leaning exclusively on Willy breaks the philosophy of signing young, long term talent too. I'd be looking at something more like this:
Isco
Fabinho
Laporte
Bernat
Moraes
Llorente
I'd be happy with one or both of Heinrich or Berciche, and if Isco is a no-go then priorities should shift to a Bernardo Silva. Arguably our lack of plan b in attack, as illustrated last night, is overshadowed by our lack of plan b for Spanish Dave. I'm confident Isco is on this time, and would be the ideal long term successor to Merlin, but if not then I'd prioritise a playmaker of similar caliber. As for striker, sure if Aguero leaves then Mbappe or maybe Aubameyang, but Sane-Jesus-Sterling is more than sufficient with the right passes behind them and the option of Kun to avoid splashing 60m or more on the position.
