I have said it before, say it now, would take a top four place now. Which says it all about our progress doesn't it.
A win tomorrow and we're in a very strong position to finish in the top four. If that was then followed by a win at Chelsea then the title race would be back on. I'd be genuinely amazed if we took six points from those games though.
So would i but if we win 3 on the bounce i would be well giddyA win tomorrow and we're in a very strong position to finish in the top four. If that was then followed by a win at Chelsea then the title race would be back on. I'd be genuinely amazed if we took six points from those games though.

We so nearly got stuffed that day.Anyone who thinks otherwise wasn't at wembley vs filling ham when we were 2-0 down in the 90th minute.
We won 4 on the bounce before the stoke game...
As opposed to our pre-takeover record when we used to ask Arsenal if we could play them every week........Based on our post-takeover record, I'd be amazed if we got a point.
Take a look at their last 8 games and our last 8 games
Unless they come and win at our place they're not getting near us whatever happens in our next 2 matches
Approaching nine years from the takeover, and all the intervening years have delivered, it's lamenatable to see some City fans still cowering in united's shadow. Why!
Are we playing against a stack of mid table teams that are already on their holidays just like Stoke were?

Do you think their concerns about united finishing above us are justified?Thats a bit harsh. I think people have justifiable concerns due to the fact that Pep hasnt sorted our defence out yet.
If we cant tighten up at the back then possibly. They have played some awful football under Mouriniho and yet they are only 4 pts off us. The powers that be want them in the top four. We need to be careful.Do you think their concerns about united finishing above us are justified?

I think we'll ultimately swat them away, like we've done for four of the last five years. We were here last season - and the one before it. Recent history supports my analysis. It seems that some blues are more consumed by more ancient, less relevant history, possibly because it feels more familiar and in-tune with what they understand the equilibrium of supporting this club to be.It's not implausible that by Thursday they could be one point behind us with a game in hand, so it's hardly a foregone conclusion.
