Started of well winning 5 out of 5 then drift away in the league and struggling to make top four plus bomb out of most of the cups but then make the semi final in one cup only to go out with a whimper. Many as usual wouldn't admit it. But this clearly proves the majority who blamed Pellars and argued we'd have won the league with a decent manager were wrong.

1. We have a more than decent manager now.
2. We have even better tent than we did last year, yet we are pretty much about where we were last year.

Perhaps it wasn't just Pellars after all :-)

So they must have reservations or lack the confidence to do that, and from my point of view that means they can't be 100% bought in, because if you're genuinely 100% behind someone you do what they say even if you're worried or nervous about it backfiring.

I think some of the players who know they are leaving aren't fully committed.

Arsenal and Monaco was about elevating key components in the side, we dont have that on the field at present... we know our shortfalls and my expectations of those players hasn't changed with pep coming in, however, the players letting us down are doing so through lack of leadership!

Chelsea are clearly going to be up for it after their loss, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them score early. Everything rests on if our defense. If they can keep Chelsea under 2 goals then I think we'll take it, otherwise we're going to have problems.

My prediction: 2-2
Sane and Aguero to score.

There must be something wrong with me but I can only see a City victory. I am convinced that will be the case

A fit Vincent would walk into any side in the world. Thats not in doubt. Unfortunately he is not fit.

Where is respect lacking? The man's a colossus and a model pro.

Terminating his contract if he is not going to be in our long term plans (and i dont see that he can be) would be hugely respectful after all he has done for us.

I'm offering my honest opinion and a preduction based on recent past.

I would be thrilled to be wrong.
 
Game is a must-not-lose for Chelsea. I'm sure they will defend for their lives and try to get us on the counter.

We need to go all out for an early goal, this is the best chance we have to score more than one goal because they will definitely get at least one. Think it will be 1-1 and I predict Pep will say team 'played amazing tonight'

I think Chelsea will park the bus and try and kill us on the break.

Chelsea can't afford to lose and let Tottenham feel they are back in the title race.

United and Everton away still to come for Chelsea as well, both tough games to get a win in.
