Options from the bench with Sane and De Bruyne who both could probably do with a bit of a break.

Nolito played a lovely ball to Aguero late on against Chelsea.

Clichy needs taking out of the firing line and the only other option is Kolarov.

I'd probably leave Kompany out due to such a long absence but it'd be nice to get a settled back four at some point - wont happen this season.

To my mind it would be too much to start with Vinnie - 2 games in 4 days is an injury waiting to happen.

The manager will pick his 11 based on tactics to be employed and the oppositions strengths and weaknesses. Bottom line is , you dont necessarily get selected based on previous performance. I agree he did have a good game though

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vinny start. IIRC, last time Vinny was fit Pep played him twice in quick succession.

If he can't handle the demands then it gives Pep an excuse to get rid, if he wants to that is. Also, if he has been fit for months then he should be able to handle the matches.

Much better to see what he's got now than go into another season optimistically relying of him.

We really need to start fast with plenty of tempo and get a goal or 2. Otherwise we all know it'll be time wasting, stop start, Miss being mugged off, 1 & 3 mins injury time when the keeper will have wasted 5 mins per half....

Kdb has looked out of it for weeks he'd be not starting in my team at the moment. Tata for all his tempo killing will have to play in the middle with Dave and the usual front 3.

BT hammered him for the deflection for some bizarre reason and yet Courtois was the keeper who made the howler. Imagine if Bravo had done that. De Gea has been poor recently, nothing said. I think that those keepers are quality, but any error from our keepers and they get absolutely hammered, often by our own which is sad to see.

They'll be no 'stop and start' with hull, he's got them playing without fear and some excellent football... these type of managers stick to a philosophy, very much like pep, and will come to play!
