Great to have Big Vince back defo need him for the next 2 games
Why is it that some people on here suggest that “Vincent can't fit Pep's way of thinking”? That man is one of the most intelligent defenders I've ever seen. If there is one player who can adapt his game and learn from Pep, it's him.
Please, please, please, stay fit, Vinny…
He was that pumped up, I felt for the boards. Great to see all that pent up emotion come out.Any truth to the rumour he sprained his thumb whacking the advertising boards?!
Just a Rough guess mate hard to tell when your singing your heart out with a belly full of beer.
Where did you watch it on the telly ???
Just a opinion I made a few weeks ago gladly be proved wrong
Arsenal have the much better attack so I'd be tempted to use him in the cup, especially if the rags drop points against Chelsea or/and Burnley.Different league from any other defender at the club. Assuming Pep will want to look after him, he probably won't be able to play at Wembley and in the derby. I think I'd save him for the derby but it's a tough decision for the manager.
If a fully fit Vinny doesn't fit into the managers way of thinking, finishing mod table with stoke is about that managers level. Why is it that some people on here suggest that “Vincent can't fit Pep's way of thinking”? A rusty first half, but history is written by the winners, so his 4 clumsy fouls (one of which wasn't awarded) will soon be forgotten.
He grew stronger as the game progressed, and we certainly look more threatening from corners.
Who has said that???
I think it's reasonable for people to of questioned the long term feasibility due to injuries, however, I can't recall many,if any, questioning his ability to play in a 'pep' team..
He's remains the best defender in the league on his day and the impact he has on those around him is unparalleled in this team, that goes for silva, yaya and kun...
I'd love to have him in every week but we need to be looking at viable alternatives now also, but if he can be managed to play 25/30 games a season then not only do we win the majority he plays, we win trophies!!
