Do the Premier League have any rules/limits as to what we can spend on transfers/wages?
5% max increase in wages bill every season, but we can increase that by the amount that our commercial income has grown. Will have zero effect for the next 2 seasons at least as we're losing a fair few of the higher earners this summer and the Nike deal will be finished the summer after (should go from 12m to around 45-50m).

What is the highest price we got from selling one of our youngsters ?

I think SWP was the highest, the rest went for little amount.

£6.5m in total for Sturridge.

£8.3m

Chelsea FC will pay an initial fee of £3.5m with additional payments of £500,000 after each of 10, 20, 30 and 40 first-team competitive appearances. There will be a further payment of £1m if the player makes a full international appearance.

Manchester City will receive 15 per cent of any sell-on fee if the player is transferred.

£3.5 + £2m appearances + £1m England + (15% of £12m) £1.8m sell on.

I imagine it'd be nearly double that these days.

Chelsea really got very little out of that in the end.
