Do you drink Cider at that pub near the airport?...I'll be there early doors watching for Etihad airways
Drink in there? I spent the 1999/2000 season playing for them. They were spoilt seeing me wearing the famous orange, blue and white stripes. I heard they retired the number 11 shirt after I moved on.

Hope we stay away from Carvalho.

Alternatives could be: Busquets, Verratti, Paredes or Weigl. Here's hoping.
Can't say I know too much about Carvalho, but what I do know is Pep knows the pivot position better than any other so am fairly comfortable with whoever we go for.

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks Juventus are going to spend over £40m on a back up left back is off their rocker.

They might do it if they sell Asamoah who I believe is wanted by a few clubs. Asamoah is the only other option they have to rotate there and he's actually a midfielder.

And I don't think they'd pay £40m. English clubs do. They would either lower the price or back off. But that would be their intention.

I've only seen Carvalho in the Euros final and thought he did a great job shielding the back four, France didn't create too much if memory is serving correctly. Aside from that clip a few pages back of him not busting a lung on a counter attack, what am I missing?

Some saying it's on. Some saying it's off. One things for sure, the guy who reported we're in talks with Carvalho is normally spot on. So is Romero.

But considering the links to other Monaco players. I find it difficult to imagine us signing Fabinho when reports are so limited.

They already own Italy's u21 LB who's a big prospect, they aren't going to spend huge money on another LB.

Seen quite a bit of Carvalho and he was poor everytime. Top it off he seemed totally different to what prefers. Carvalho isn't agile at all.

Yep, and then I got set straight by the person in question.
Damn son. There's a silver lining to this though. Try tweeting that we're signing Neymar and Mbappe. If you get shot down again, oh well, but if you don't then.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But how good is his/her information? Not doubting your sincerity, but there are a lot of apparent ITKs of varying veracity and reliability. We are still favourites per Skybet and Juventus are 11-1, so I am not giving up just yet.

Yes but they're not using them yet and will loan them until they're ready. They might sell Sandro but I doubt very much that they'll consider their U21s as a backup to Sandro at this stage. They won't play those U21 LBs until they're ready. That's just my guess. They like having more than one good player on each position, left back, right back, midfield, forwards. And they have a long working relationship with those French clubs (like Monaco) and they would wanna use it to lower the price way under that £40m if they can. If not, and if doesn't work out for them, obviously they can walk away.

Juventus are a cunning club.

And personally I think we'll get Mendy according to these rumours. But you'll never know and this would be their line of thinking if they really want him. They tried to get Kolasinac too.
