How do I take this test? This bloke I know thinks I'm an idiot, he is so gonna look like one as I reckon I could easily achieve imbecile.
You don't take the test. You match the description on the left with your age on the right. I'm a moron, and even I know that.

While you can't completely rule out the club selling Aguero (it's got to be a very tempting offer and the teams that could afford him have other priorities) and are probably looking out for replacements I doubt we will do this just yet.

I think the stance with Pep and the board regarding Aguero has been clear from day one:
Pep and City won't be trying to sell Aguero anywhere. BUT if we do end up getting both Mbappe AND Sanchez, Aguero knows that Pep would put him 4th in the totem pole: 1,2,3 are Mbappe Sanchez and Jesus. Aguero comes after that. In that situation Aguero himself might not want to be the 4th choice player and look to leave. If Aguero himself look to leave, City will definitely sell IMO and recoup a huge amount of cash.

Now Pep and City has set this up so this is a win-win situation for them:
1. If Aguero leaves, they will maintain that they did not want to sell him and that Aguero himself wanted to leave and they had to respect his wishes to do so.
2. If Aguero stays and accepts his reduced role, then City will have a hell of a depth in the squad.

Whatever the outcome is, City and Pep will always come out as the good guy. And this is all because Pep and City have never wavered on their statement regarding Aguero : that City are not looking to sell him and don't forget Pep mentioned this so many times (I'm paraphrasing here) : If Sergio wants to stay, he will stay. Everything depends on Sergio. We are so so happy to have him in our team.

He has a contract and we want him to stay and play the Pep way which he had been doing for quite some time very successfully..but is he enjoying it..? I'm not sure he is...

This is one of his biggest challenges to date since he has signed for us. It wasn't going to be plain sailing in trying to adapt to life under Guardiola.

Similarities to the Joe Hart situation, he was moved to 3rd choice goalkeeper.

Khaldoon and Pep have both gone on record to say they want him here.

The fact that they've both gone out of their way to answer a question they don't have to answer is very suspicious and reeks of "we didn't want him to leave, but..." preparation.

That doesn't mean I think he's leaving, or that they will push him, but that they're covering their tracks for the inevitable shit fest that would come if he did leave because It became clear Jesus or Sanchez or both were ahead of him.

Covering their tracks, possibly, but they would also look foolish for telling the world that Aguero will be a City player next season. However, it just occurred to me that the season begins in August and they could be technically correct if Aguero begins the season with City and is sold close to the close of the transfer window lol.

I'm becoming more and more convinced by all this posturing from both sides that something isn't quite right with the "he's staying put" narrative...

While you could be right and you can't completely ignore Kun's dissatisfaction, which has been bubbling during spells of last season ( that could be partly down to his two red cards imho), however with the way he finished the season it looked like he still wants to play a major part in our success.

You're all nuts :-)

He stays one more year he'll be our all time goal scorer. He ain't leaving without that.

Add to that, Pep says he's staying. Sergio says he's staying and Khaldoon says it's ridiculous. Ask yourself when those people have said something that strongly and it not happen.

Thank god too.

Go watch 93:20 and calm down. :-)

Was just going to post this, potentially he can smash it,I think he's here for 1 more season,IMO.
Hopefully for him and us,he does stay and he does smash it,he deserves it.
